Admit it , You were also eager to know how to do this in your PC also.

Now let me come directly to the trick, HOW TO MAKE YOUR COMPUTER GREET YOU WITH A CUSTOM MESSAGE


So here we start ,

FOLLOW THE BELOW GIVEN STEPS :


  • STEP 1 > Open Notepad , start > All programs > Accessories > Notepad
  • STEP 2 > Copy the below given code and paste it on Notepad


You can replace USERNAME with your name and you can change the text ' welcome to your computer ' to your own desired message

  • Click on File > save as. Write your desired name and add .vbs at end [ EG : welcome.vbs ]
  • Copy the file you just created
  • Go to  >> 
ON WIN 7 , WIN 8 , WIN VISTA 
C:\Users\ {User-Name}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

AND ON WIN XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

  • This folder may be hiiden so make sure your HIDDEN FOLDERS are visible
  • Paste the file over there

  • Go to control Panel > Hardware and sounds
  • Under sound option click on CHANGE SYSTEM SOUNDS [ as shown in below pic ]
  • Change sound scheme to No sound [ see below pic ]
